The city breathes, lives, changes and develops. Its residents, overwhelmed by the rush and constant transformations, are often looking for a place to reset – a goal that may be too distant for some. Summer Time’s mission is to create a space of comfort and show how urbanity intersects with cinema and other art forms.

The Urban View Competition will once again provide you with unique ways to visually observe the urban fabric. The films will touch on surfaces hidden and visible, architectural collages and all things urban.

This time, however, Urban View will not be a part of the Short Waves Festival. In keeping with our • Rethink/Rebuild • motto this year, we are moving this section into Summer Time, complementing our concept with cinematic representations of the city.

This year Urban View will be a curated program – by Aleksandra Ławska. This means that we are not opening a call related to it.
