Within the non-competition screenings section, we will be presenting 78 films, grouped in 8 sets. Selections include a presentation of Oscar films – both live-action and animation – collectively 15 titles. The American Film Academy selections may be contrasted with productions competing for the European Film Award. The repertoire will not lack in thrills: three evenings in Rialto cinema will offer entertaining film sets – Comedy Shorts, Hot Shorts, and Girl Power Shorts. For years, the SWF program has included selections aimed at different age groups – Old Man Who Can for seniors and screenings for children selected from Kuki festival in Berlin.
