The 12th edition of Short Waves Festival, the most concise festival of short cinema, is approaching! We will show around 250 films spread across over 70 events throughout six days at more than a dozen locations. Let us seduce you with a selection of the best shorts from all around the world! Fiction, documentaries, animations, music videos, experimental!
We are delighted to announce this year’s prize categories: Polish Competition, International Competition, Urban View, Dances with Camera, and a brand new section – Polish Experimental Film Competition. This year we have prepared two focuses: the motto Fixing The Future, inviting us to consider ways in which we can shape our contemporary reality and – most of all – the future for the next generations, and a geographical one – dedicated to the cinematography of Lebanon. On top of that, join us for many non-competition and special screenings and educational and networking events.
