We are sad to announce that due the the epidemic danger of the coronavirus in Poznań, in line with recommendations from the authorities of the City of Poznań and the closure of cultural institutions in the City, we have decided to push back the 12th edition of Short Waves Festival to the second half of August 2020. 

Having in mind the health and comfort of our guests and viewers, we consider the postponement of the Festival to be the most reasonable solution. Join us for the August edition of the most concise short film festival. Our motto Fixing The Future stays relevant, perhaps even way more than we expected.

We were ready, the whole Short Waves Festival team worked for many months. The screening rooms, films, catalogue – everything was ready and waiting for the arrival of our guests and audience – remarks Emilia Mazik, the Director of Short Waves Festival.

We will share further details about the plans of the Ad Arte foundation and the future of Short Waves Festival 2020 in the following days. Please take note that all tickets purchased for the Festival will be reimbursed automatically via the Bilety24.pl ticketing platform. The reimbursement of Festival Passes and tickets purchased at cash desks will be also possible. We will communicate the details of this also in the following days.
