Zamek Culture Centre and Short Waves Festival present: Martyna Basta & Perila Concert!

Martyna Basta is an artist that uses altered violin, zither and harpsichord to create music that introduces an aura of mystery into the familiar space. She navigates smoothly between the sounds of ambient, drone, as well as more dynamic parts, incorporating vocals and field recordings into her compositions. Perila is constantly weaving moods and textures, constructing intimate and complex visual, textual and performative layers. Their music allows the audience to experience intimacy in the abstract sense, and to transform the personal into collective.
